Tomorrow is a big day for TEdS, The Everyday Scrapbooker. It’s a new month, which means we’ve got a new stamp of the month up for grabs. It also means you get to buy ANY Close to My Heart Cricut cartridge and receive 20% off. It’s Close to My Hearts’ first ever Cyber Monday sale. Kind of sounds good, right?
In addition to all this fabulousness, I’m also starting my first ever December Daily challenge. Each day through December, starting tomorrow December 1, a photo prompt will be posted to my facebook page (www.facebook.com/TheEverydayScrapbooker). Your mission, if you choose to accept, is to take a picture using the prompt and scrapbook it. You can choose how you’d like to scrap it and when. If it works better for you to complete your album in January, after the chaos of the holiday dies down, that’s totally okay. If you’re dying to get creating, while the picture and prompts are fresh in your mind, that’s great too! The purpose of this project is to just have fun and preserve our memories while we’re at it.
Are you familiar with December Daily? Have you ever heard of it before- have you ever created a December Daily album before? In all honesty, I’ve never created one before. But, I’ve wanted to. In years past, I’ve thought of it a little too late; either December is half over or its all over and I’m seeing other paper crafters posting their finished albums. This year, I’m on the ball! Not only have I started planning this at the beginning of November, I also got my personal Christmas cards done. I’m really excited about this!
December Daily was started by Ali Edwards in 2007. She based it on Becky Higgins’ Project Life scrapbooking model, with a heavy emphasis on the month of December. For more information, visit Simple Stories here: http://simplestories.typepad.com/simple_stories/2013/12/december-daily.html.

My personal plan is to complete a mini album once December is through using Close to My Hearts’ My Crush- specifically the Holiday Happenings Book and Assortments.
