Hello friends! Phew- I’m starting to see what a drain it is to have my kids around constantly! Not that I really forgot- it just comes painfully and blatantly obvious when you’ve got errands to run- errands that shouldn’t take much more than an hour, but quickly stretches into an afternoon outing around town. Oy- I’m exhausted! And I’ve barely begun the rest of my household chores for the day!
Oh well, the bright spot in my day is sharing more scrappy goodness with you. Care to join me while I share today’s project with you? Put your feet up- sort of like mine are now- complete with an overweight cat cuddling in my lap. (And a slightly chilled Dr. Pepper).
I used the CTMH Pinwheel SOTM on this layout, as well as a mixture of papers, washi tape and a journaling card.
Hello! I stuck with a grey, black and purple color scheme on this layout, using a mixture of products again, this time around. I lifted a sketch or layout again, but the exact one eludes me right now. Sorry!
I hope you enjoy- tomorrow I’ll have another double page layout to share! See you then!
Wow, time has a way of skipping away from a person! Where has the last three days gone, and what was I doing for the first two of those three days?! I can’t remember anymore! Ha! Yesterday, my kids and I ventured into Edmonton to see the Street Performers. It was a riot!
Today, I’m sharing a spread I’ve been meaning to post for the last three days. I’m just now getting to it! This sketch by Laura Whitaker was my inspiration:
I stretched the sketch to make it a double page spread.
I used a mixture of manufacturers, including CTMH on this spread! Stay tuned tomorrow for another double page spread!
Good afternoon everyone! I’m sharing another double page spread today. This one is Halloween themed! I absolutely loved working with the original that inspired me- it was easy to lift and my design came together rather quickly on this one! Find the original (and more) saved to my Fave Scraplifts Pinterest board.
The layout that inspired me is the bottom one, though the top one is inspiring too! I’m just not ready to use it yet!
Here’s my take:
I created this layout using CTMH patterned papers and inks, SU (and a few CTMH) stamps, My Minds Eye washi tape and some embossing folders (which I ran the purple pendants through my cuttlebug with).
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. I hope you join me again tomorrow for another layout!
Good morning! Today, I’m sharing a double page layout. Actually, from here on in, I’ll be sharing mostly double page spreads from my special request album. I felt that, in the interest of time and efficiency, double page spreads would work the best to incorporate all the awesome pictures my customer had provided me with! And yes, I wound up using every single picture- with two extra page protectors left to spare!
I used a mixture of CTMH products and My Minds Eye washi tape on this spread and trimmed and arranged the pics so they overlapped to ensure everything fit comfortably on each 8×8 page.
– CTMH Taste of Summer patterned paper
– CTMH Taste of Summer stamp set
– CTMH Hollyhock cardstock
– CTMH Cutie Pie stamp set
– CTMH Flaxen ink
– CTMH Whisper ink
– SU Garden Green ink
– MME washi tapes
– MS border punch
– Recollections cardstock
Good morning! Happy 4th to all my American friends! Enjoy your weekend and remember to party responsibly! Maybe send me a shout when the festivities are over- I’ll put all your pictures into a fun little album for you, so you can keep enjoying your epic weekend!
Today I’m sharing an original design layout, another page in the special request album I finished last week. Are you ready to see it?! Ready or not, here it comes! Quick, grab a coffee and feast your eyes on this bright and energetic layout!
All the stamped images came from CTMH’S December stamp of the month, Cutie Pie. I used CTMH inks in Glacier, Sweet Leaf, Hollyhock and Blush. The large patterned paper is Carta Bella and my card stock base is Recollections! Enjoy!
I’ll be back again tomorrow with another special request layout installment. See you then!
Hello everyone! Has the heat melted you yet? For all my Canadian friends, how was your Canada Day? Ours was great- we spent the evening visiting with a very close friend then ended the evening taking in the fireworks, which happens less than a block from our house. It was the perfect mix of laid back and nuts.
My American friends- are you ready for the 4th of July?! What are your plans for this special day?
Today, I have another layout to share. I used strictly–well, mostly– CTMH Taste of Summer for this little layout. I thought it worked perfectly for a newborn layout.
There’s also bits and pieces of Jubilee patterned paper and Lagoon washi tape.
I hope you enjoy today’s layout and I hope you stop by tomorrow. I’ll have another layout to share!
