CTMH Magical Moments Birthday Card

Merry Christmas dear friends! The holiday is nearly upon us, and I’ve been able to squeak in a tiny bit of crafty time amidst the chaos.

My mom requested a special birthday card for my aunt, who is turning 65. I browsed Pinterest and found the perfect card. You can see the original pinned here.
I created this card using CTMH Paper Garden and Magical Moments stamps, Lagoon and Sweet Leaf inks, as well as CTMH Lagoon Heart washi tape.

Thanks for dropping in and enjoy your holiday!

I’ll see everyone again in the New Year- but hopefully before!

CTMH Sympathy Cards

Hello, friends! These past few weeks have been incredibly busy between school activities and prepping for Christmas. This season reminds me that although there is much beauty in the season and festivities, there can also be sadness. Yesterday (December 10th) marked the one year anniversary of our very dear friends’ sudden passing. There have also been a few other unexpected deaths in our circle of family and friends this past week, so I took some time to create cards for our friends rather than scrapbook. I’d like to share them with you today.

In the card above, I used:
– CTMH Glacier cardstock
– CTMH Snowhaven patterned paper
– CTMH Paper Garden SOTM
– CTMH Slate and Glacier inks

I also used my cuttlebug to emboss the background cardstock.

This last card was made for sweet little #safyre. Have you heard her story? If not, Google her. She is a beautiful and inspiring little girl! My daughters even made cards for her- they’re sad she got hurt, but happy she’s alive. My thoughts exactly!
In this card, I used:
– CTMH Peacock cardstock and ink
– CTMH Poster Tidings SOTM (retired)
– CTMH Glacier cardstock
– CTMH Seaside patterned paper

CTMH Framed Thinking of You

image

Just wanted to share a couple cards I made on the spur of the moment today. These cards were inspired by one that had been posted to Canadian Scrapbookers’ Pinterest today.
I used up some CTMH Snowhaven patterned paper scraps, as well as White Daisy cardstock (for the card bases and the embossed mats). The colored cardstock is Glacier and Thistle- also scraps from my stash.
Lastly, I stamped the floral images (Paper Garden) in Slate and Glacier, and Outdoor Denim and Thistle (in the second card). Thinking of you was stamped using CTMH Framed (SOTM).
Thanks for dropping in. See you again soon!

CTMH Snowhaven Pure Excitement Layout

image

Hello friends, I’m just dropping in quick with another 2nd birthday layout. The eldest of the twins is in this lo, hence the pink background. I used up bits of Snowhaven patterned paper, as well as Lollydoodle. The only die cut on this layout is the gift bag! Everything else is stamped and fussy cut.
Enjoy your weekend and hope to see you again next week!

CTMH Saffron Be Thankful Layout

Hello friends! Welcome to December!  Our elf, Snowflake joined us today but my kids don’t know it yet. She left thrm some oreos and hot chocolate (k-cups) to snack on when they come in from playing outside. Do you participate in this tradition?

I just had to scrapbook this picture of little miss A. It was the morning of her second birthday party (A few days prior to her actual birthdate) and we were preparing for a huge bash. In the pic, she was waiting patiently for her breakfast.

I layered some Jillibean Soup,  EP and CTMH cardstock papers, as well as created the title using corkboard letters I found at the dollarama. I cut the pumpkin with my cricut and layered thanksgiving stickers on top of it.
I hope you join me again soon for another layout!
