CTMH Art Philosophy

I have one more Halloween layout to share. I try to get into the festive spirit and dress up along with my kids. Sometimes what I envision doesn’t work out (like this year), and other times, my costume remains undecided until the last minute.

I came up with the smartie pants idea as kids were walking up to my door. I inhaled a party size box of smarties and pinned them to my pants. If I’d had my glasses as this point, I’d have taped the bridge too. I didn’t get them until later, though.

This is another layout that parted ways with CTMH. Slightly. The cardstocks are both CTMH, but the patterned paper came from another company. SU, I think? I’m not certain anymore.

I typically always cut my layout titles using CTMH art philosophy (Cricut). The glasses are another Cricut cut.

Pumpkin Carving

I moved away from strictly CTMH in this layout, and included some SU patterned paper I had in my stash. CTMH skylark complimented the paper well, and it was perfect for more Halloween pictures!

Each of the kids had a go at unpacking the pumpkin, but they’re their fathers daughters, and both wound up gagging over the look and feel of it’s innards, so Mom had to finish. 😏

Extra City Sidewalks Card Bundles

CTMH Silver & Gold Halloween

Silver & Gold isn’t just for Christmas! I used Side B from the bulk paper pack to create a Halloween 🎃 inspired double page layout.

The title and embellishments were cut with my Cricut. Same with the year in the bottom right corner of the journaling block. I finished off using the zip strip and some washi tape.

CTMH City Sidewalks Christmas Card Kits

I have more Christmas card kits for sale! They are available to anyone that wants them. The only requirement is that you own some glue!

The kits are as follows:

All the materials in each kit are pre-stamped and pre-cut. There’s enough in each bag to create 5 cards. It also includes a completed sample card.

I accept cash, cheque and PayPal! Shipping charges will apply. No kit is mailed until payment has been received 😊

You likey? I do! There will be more coming in the next few days, so hang onto your seats! Comment below if you’d like to own either of these sets of cards. They’ll go fast!

Using CTMH Zip Strips

I’m sure I’ve covered this topic before, but a refresher never hurts.

Need a way to use up that stash of zip strips? Arrange them in a pattern on your page then place your photos next to them. Layer your title and embellishments overtop, and you’re finished!

Morning at the Fire Department

I think this was my most favourite field trip to chaperone. Both my girls went the same day- one class after the other. I rode to the fire department with one daughters class, waved bye to her when she left, and waited until her sisters class arrived. I rode back to school with her class when the tour was over. I spent the entire morning at our local fire department 😊

Lots of retired products here today, mixed with some stamping and journaling cards. I matted two journaling cards together. First, I trimmed the larger one down because 4×6 was too large for my plan. Next, I matted the ‘Love’ journaling card over the other. To finish, I added a couple dots around the page.

CTMH Products are Versatile

I used some of our new cardstock on this layout, and I just realized I should create a project to show you just how versatile it is! If you remember, our card stock now comes in two shades, right in one sheet! One side is slightly darker than the reverse side. Unfortunately here, I did not use both sides of the sheet. I’ve made a mental note to do that in the near future.

To highlight the fact my children were shopping for glasses in this layout, I cut a couple glasses out using my Cricut. I filled in the lens portion of the glasses with my Liquid Glass, and added some Bitty Sparkles for a bit of bling. The bottom portion of the layout was matted with Whisper card stock. I cut the title from Poppy cardstock and adhered using liquid glass. (Our liquid glass is very versatile, too!) The hearts are puffy stickers that retired long ago.

Speaking of retiring products, there’s just over one month left to enjoy the goodies in our current Holiday Expressions catalog. Come January, a new Holiday Expressions will grace us with its presence. Head over to my website in the near future (or now!) to stock up on the current products in this catalog. I’ll be placing my December order within the first couple days of the month. If you’d like to add to it, please let me know! I’m looking forward to all the new goodies to drool over in the New Year!

Spa Date

Face masks are the perfect cold day activity to keep the twins occupied. They recently just found another one lying around the house, so we got that done, too.

I created a simple title using CTMH stamp alphas. This set is called Handwritten. The rest of the papers I used are all retired.
