If you’ve got kids, you know how fast messes happen, and how slowly they’re cleaned up afterwards. Sometimes, our Elf shows up and expresses her disapproval to the twins. They take it pretty hard, but score for Mom!
With my leftover Silver & Gold patterned paper, I created this festive layout. It isn’t necessarily Christmas (I think I was scrapping October sometime) but since Snowflake made an appearance, I thought Christmas paper was fitting.
I also had to throw in a dash of the gorgeous Bashful Ink- I love it paired with the pewter and basic black colours! It’s a match made in heaven. Wouldn’t you agree?

Hello friends! Welcome to December! Our elf, Snowflake joined us today but my kids don’t know it yet. She left thrm some oreos and hot chocolate (k-cups) to snack on when they come in from playing outside. Do you participate in this tradition?
I just had to scrapbook this picture of little miss A. It was the morning of her second birthday party (A few days prior to her actual birthdate) and we were preparing for a huge bash. In the pic, she was waiting patiently for her breakfast.
I layered some Jillibean Soup, EP and CTMH cardstock papers, as well as created the title using corkboard letters I found at the dollarama. I cut the pumpkin with my cricut and layered thanksgiving stickers on top of it.
I hope you join me again soon for another layout!

It’s been a busy and excitable couple days around here! We drove a few hours away for a family Christmas dinner, which would also fit nicely into Day number 6 (tradition). You can read all about it here. While there, Santa left us a very special letter.
He told us that he had heard we wanted to adopt an Elf on the Shelf, and he obliged. The girls were over the moon. At least, until Glitter (aka Snowflake) joined us. She arrived this morning while the girls were at school and mommy ran errands.
After doing some brainstorming, we threw the names we thought of into a hat and drew one out. Snowflake became our new Elfs’ name!
Today’s photo prompt is tree. The only tree anywhere near us, really, is our Christmas tree. Every other tree in town and our immediate vicinity is pretty boring. There’s no fog or anything else to make the look interesting. Imaginative, right?
I hope you have better luck than me today!
