We Mermaid To Be Friends

How bright and sunshiny does this layout feel? It’s a lot like the afternoon we spent at rotary park with our bffs. Happiness is sunshine and kfc with our besties, am I right? 😉

I used CTMH Whimsy Fundamentals and it’s coordinating complements. I paired it all with our SOTM this month, A Little Bit of Pun.

I was able to look up my last order and discovered that (happily), it has been shipped and should be here on Friday. I honestly can’t wait to show you the new products! They’ll be available to you in just a few short weeks!

Until then, I may not have much to share with you. This is the last layout I have to share with you. I’ve been playing nurse to the twins for the last two weeks. The flu has hit us hard this year 😔 Even sadder, we’re missing our Christmas concert this year 😞😭 The twins are devastated. It’s today. Anyone else agree that while the warm weather is glorious, it’s a double edged sword? At this time of year, we can’t have the best of both worlds- if the weather remains warm, our babies will remain ill. I vote for miserable, cold weather to kill the viruses floating around. You in??

Always Cuddle Time

I really love Bashful paired with the neutral tones of the Basics Fundamentals collection. I couldn’t help choosing it for this layout of Miss M. Pink is her colour.

I used Cats Meow again for the title on this layout, and I added the negative portion of a die cut I had lying around, as well.

I’m hoping to have new goodies to showcase in the very near future, but it’s becoming painfully obvious that mail has slowed down due to the Christmas rush. I’m sitting on pins and needles over here! The goodies I’m waiting on will be available to you beginning in January. They are all out of the new seasonal expressions catalog, and they’re all stunning. If you have little boys in your life, there’s a collection for you. If you need a great gift idea, there’s a fantastic recipe album in there for you. There’s also the calendar that’s available this month. We’ve got a new travel tote and coordinating accessories, as well! I won’t have that in my order because I’m not ready to order it! I wanted my obsession- Paper- instead 😊

I hope you like it just as much as me! Stay tuned!

Cats Meow

Happy Monday. Good morning all!

I thought this kitty stamp set from CTMH was puuurfect for a layout of my Gregory. Freddie is there, too, because he’s teaching Gregory to share Moms lap 😉

I kept the colour palette neutral as a way to pay homage to my late kitty. I used more Basics Fundamentals, and paired it with some of our new Pebble cardstock. I stamped all the images and title using Pewter ink.

Hello December

Yes, December. The month of anticipation, gift giving, friends and family, and waayyy too much good food. I’m finishing off my Christmas baking today. The only question now: pumpkin loaves and cherry tarts or cherry cheesecake dip?

I dove into some of my Beary Christmas paper and created this layout. I cut the title using my Cricut and embellished using retired CTMH complements. I also cut the snowflakes with my Cricut.

CTMH ALittle Bit of Pun

It’s absolutely impossible to see in the first Layout, but I used one of the A Little Bit of Pun stamps as a background element in the top layout. I used Bashful as the background colour as far as the stamping is concerned, which is why it appears invisible. It’s very light in nature. By the way, I tried zooming in on the areas I stamped, but I still couldn’t see it. It is there, I promise, and it looks really cute. I used The ‘you’re one hip square’ stamp from the stamp set.

In the bottom layout, the stamp work is way easier to see. Using the bottom portion of the ‘I like you a whole watt’ stamp, I created a border by stamping repeatedly along the top portion of the photo/journal mat. I cut a scalloped oval with my Cricut, and stamped the entire image with Pewter and Crystal Blue Ink. The oval is inked with Glacier ink using a sponge dauber.

In both layouts, I paired the Fundamentals papers with the SOTM; Basics and Whimsy are showcased in both layouts.

CTMH Beary Christmas Mini Album Workshop

Have I shared anything using the festive Beary Christmas paper? I don’t think I have- and we’re so near Christmas! I can’t believe I haven’t done that yet!

I am planning a kids Christmas workshop that I’m holding in January. Christmas is such a busy time, I thought it would be wise to hold off on CTMH events until things slow down again. Unfortunately, waiting so long didn’t help me- some of the items I wanted to use in our workshop are sold out! Boo. So, I used some extra complements I’ve got kicking around. My plan is to let the kids go to town on what I have here, along with the Beary Christmas paper. Its the festive holly-adorned paper in the background of each of these mini layouts. I paired it with extra sheets of miscellaneous CTMH patterned papers I had kicking around. The kids will be able to use whatever else I didn’t use to complete their pages.

Tomorrow, I’ll share a Christmas card I made using Beary Christmas, and then in the next week, I’ll start sharing projects I made using this month’s sotm (A Little Bit of Pun).

Keep in mind, the sotm the month, Beary Christmas and some of the other suites I used to make these pages (Jack, for example) retire at the end of December. If you want to add them to your stash, make sure you order them before December 31! The sooner you do it, the better. Products are flying off the shelves!

Becoming a CTMH Consultant

I was asked yesterday if I am a CTMH rep. I am, and the conversation turned to becoming a consultant. I thought I’d take the opportunity to share more about becoming a consultant today.

It’s really easy to sign up. It’s also a lot of fun. If you’re passionate about paper crafting and you’re looking for a way to share it with the community at large, this is the perfect solution. It’s also a great way to earn a little extra cash, either for spending money to support your habit, or to help make ends meet. I get to do what I love daily, and share it with the world at the same time. Do you want the same?

Joining the CTMH family is a good idea any time. When you sign up, you’ll receive all the materials you need to start strong.

In addition to the fabulous items you see in the picture above, your upline is there to guide, encourage and support you, and there is a vast listening library found on your website dashboard to help you along the way. The entire CTMH community is vital to your business- there are a TON of groups on fb to inspire, help you and possibly even buy extra supplies off your hands. Wink, wink. Just saying.

What’s an upline? They are your support system and guidance counsellor. They’ll help you and answer any and all questions you’ve got. Even ones you hadn’t thought of.

Why be a consultant?

– share what you love using quality, beautifully designed products that speak for themselves

– earn 22% commission (and more as you add to your team) and “CTMH” cash to spend on your favourite products

– travel! Earn incentive trips and learn how to transform your business by going to the yearly convention

– earn Straight to the Top incentives and recognition for your hard work by placing qualifying orders in your first three months

– Qualifying orders of $150 or more gives you even more fantastic gifts! Those are called Hostess Rewards

– Get all this and more for only $95.

If you’re in Canada, message me. I’d love to chat more about joining our fantastic team. If you live outside of Canada (in the USA or Australia and New Zealand) find a consultant near you. They’d love to talk with you about this opportunity, as well!

Beary Christmas Tunes Card

I have more Christmas card kits available. These ones were made using extra Beary Christmas paper. I paired this paper with October’s SOTM, Christmas Tunes and the holly came from another (retired) CTMH stamp set.

For an extra touch, I used my MS glitter glue to colour in the holly berries and my Shin Han markers to colour in the holly inside the wreath. I couldn’t help but think of my watercolored paints while I coloured it in…I may do that the next time I use Christmas Tunes!

I have a set of 5 cards available for purchase. It comes in an unassembled kit; everything you need to create them is included, and everything has been stamped, coloured and cut for you. Just put them together!

I’ll ship everywhere. I accept PayPal and cash/cheque from my local peeps.

CTMH Bashful Together

How pretty is Pebble and Bashful together? I added some navy 8.5×11 cardstock I had in my stash (the last sheet I’d been hoarding) for an extra splash of colour. It’s very elegant, isn’t it?

The title was cut using my Cricut, a photo mat was embossed using the CTMH rose embossing folder and I finished off with pink extra thick twine and embellishments from the Stronger Together and Happy Moments (if I remember correctly!) Complements. The Cricut die cut is my absolute favourite. I typically type my titles, so I really liked that the image was already made for me. I like even more that it’s not my typical linear style, either. That small change is refreshing to me.

(And, the only reason I type them is because there’s no image for what I am looking for! I’m getting to the point where I’m going to start purchasing the ones I want.) 😊

I Thought…

I mixed a lot of papers to create this layout. It’s all left over paper from other projects, honestly. The title had already been cut- it’s been in my ‘left over Cricut cut outs’ box forever. The stars were meant for another project but were too big. They worked well here. The Beary Christmas Paper is left over from making samples for my next kids workshop. I’ll share that in the near future. The rest is bits and pieces that have been floating around for awhile and needed a home.

It took me quite awhile to complete this layout. I think it was nearly a week. Normally I pump them out at a much quicker pace. The design on this one kicked my butt, but it feels good to have it done. I’m proud of it!

My daughters told me this subject was a creepy one. I think that’s why I struggled. Creating a layout about something falling out of your head is harder than I anticipated! Thank goodness that’s the only picture I have of that sort!
